AW3 presenting 'Introduction to Creative Writing Workshop'

Whether you are an experienced writer, or have never put pen to paper creatively yet always longed to, this workshop can cater to your aspirations and objectives.
The longer courses will look at style, formatting, characterisation, plotting, metre, and rhyme schemes, according to the needs of the individual student. Students will receive written tutorial feedback, and by the end of the course will have a minimum of one finished piece of work to submit to publishers.
(With option to enrol on further 6 or 10 week course leading to submission of work to publishers)
Julian Isaacs holds a BA Hons in English and a Creative Writing MA from the University of Exeter, and a Level 4 Adult Literacy Subject Specialism. He has over ten years' experience delivering creative writing tuition, both one-to-one and in a group setting. He has delivered workshops in a variety of community and statutory settings, including community centres, arts centres, probation hostels, and prisons. He is experienced in supporting learning difficulties, such as dyslexia.
Julian has recently had poems published in Poems Against Prejudice, Spilling Cocoa Over Martin Amis, and the Plymouth Herald, and has published two chapbooks of poetry in 2016 and 2017: The Breathless Thrush of Unevensong (acclaimed in New Plymouth Poetry in Tears In The Fence), and Tears In The Rigging.
